Bill Kittrell gave an update on the Emmaus House in Haiti that we have supported for a number of years. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere with a population of ten million people.
Hunter and Jillian Kittrell work as house parents for the Emmaus House, which is a transition home for orphan boys who age out of the orphanage. They have only a 6 - 8th grade education, no money and no life skills. The Emmaus House takes care of teaching these young men how to take care of themselves, to continue their education, Bible classes, how to get a job, and manage their money.
